Placement

Students can do a curricular internship (or placement) either within the University or with recognised companies/organisations. Curricular internships are administered by the departments.

Students who have graduated in the last year can do extra-curricular internships. Details can be found on the Careers Service website, which also offers a placement service for those seeking employment opportunities.

In the reserved area of the "Sportello Lavoro" website, you can find information about the modality to write a resume or a letter of introduction, on the tools to support the placement and on the companies that can be contacted by the students in the active search for a job or an internship. The Placement office is available to all students and graduates who want information on these initiatives.
The Central University Placement Office stipulates internship agreements and training projects only for graduate students no more than a year. Internships of regularly enrolled students are stipulated by the Departments.
All the necessary information is available on the Job Counter website.
Traineeships are regulated by the VADEMECUM, below published, which describes the items to be achieved for each year and specify the cfu to be performed in the various departments.
The Plan of Studies of the CSID provides, as a regulation, at least 60 ECTS equivalent to at least 1500 hours of direct assistance (1 CFU = 25 hours) starting from the 2nd semester of the 1st year. The professional apprenticeship includes a preclinical training in preparation for clinical training. At the end of each training period, the competence acquired in the various vocational training activities is subjected to evaluation in the manner established by the Council of the CSID. With a mechanism of progressiveness in the acquisition of operational skills, the activities carried out by the students will support the outpatient and patient-directed staff during all three years of the course.
