Enrollment Rules:

[DIDACTIC REGULATION OF THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE COURSE, Art. 7 Access to the Bachelor's Degree Course]

To be admitted to the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Bachelor's Degree Course, the student must have an High School Diploma or other qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable. To enroll in the 1st year of the Bachelor's Degree, it's mandatory to undergo a self-assessment test aimed at ascertaining the aptitude and preparation for the studies. For this purpose, the University organizes a test before the start of the courses. An outcome inferior to the established threshold of overcoming involves the assignment of additional training obligations that are satisfied by the compulsory attendance of basic subject courses. At the end of those courses, a further test will be given. Failure to pass this examination will prevent the student from enrolling in the 2nd year of the Bachelor's Degree if he/she has not passed the Geometry exam or, alternatively, the exam of Mathematical Analysis I.
