To enroll in the Bachelor degree courses on:

Economia e gestione aziendale (curriculum in italian language):
Business and Management (curriculum in english language)

you must have an high school diploma.

This is an open access course but, to verify your initial preparation, it is mandatory to take a non-selective, compulsory, self-evaluation test (TOLC) through CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati), specifically:

TOLC-E for degree courses taught in Italian;
ENGLISH TOLC-E for degree courses taught in English.

You could take the test at any italian University and here are the dates offered by the University of Trieste

The test time are approximately from the 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The test is indipendent of enrollment but must be taken from 1st January 2023 to 4th November 2024.

ENGLISH PROFIENCY LEVEL B2

Candidates must be able to demonstrate an English level of B2

If you hold one of the certificates in this list, upload it during the on line procedure of enrollment
If you do not have a certificate or if your certificate does not meet the requirements above, the University Language Centre (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo - CLA) shall assess your English level: to know the assestment procedure go to the dedicated webpage which will be gradually updated

How and when to enroll

Enrollment deadlines:

from the 3rd of June to the 4th of October 2024

Conclusion of enrollment:

after verifying the documentation, the Admission Office will assign you your registration number which will be sent to you via e-mail to your private mailbox.
within 48 hours of this communication, the University's online service, your institutional e-mail box and the virtual badge will be activated (read the info)
upon receipt of the registration number, follow the mandatory video course on safety

Students who want to enroll in the Bachelor degree courses in Economia e Gestione Aziendale:

degree course curriculum in Italian: Amministrazione e controllo and Gestione Aziendale
degree course curriculum in English: Business and Management

must take a non-selective, compulsory, self-evaluation test.

The testing format employed by the Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche, Aziendali, Matematiche e Statistiche is called the Test On Line CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati), specifically:

TOLC-E” for degree courses taught in Italian

and ENGLISH TOLC-E for degree courses taught in English.

Tests should be carried out from 1st January 2022 to 4th November 2023.

Test results shall be valid for the above-written degree courses run by the Department. After taking the test, students can enroll in the said degree courses by entering the dedicated website of the University of Trieste (https://www.units.it/immatricolazioni). If the test score achieved is less than 9 points, students are allowed to enroll, but with an educational deficit (O.F.A: obbligo formativo aggiuntivo, namely additional learning requirements ).
