They must satisfy one of the following two curricular requirements:
1. hold a Degree in Class L-35 (Mathematical Sciences) or a Degree ex Law 509/99 in Class No. 32 (Mathematical Sciences);
2. have acquired at least 36 CFUs in the MAT / * sectors.
Furthermore, students must be able to fluently use the English language, in written and oral form, at least at the B2 level. In case they have not already acquired this competence, they will have to acquire it by the end of the studies.
In case 2. the Degree Course Board performs a verification of the personal preparation of the students. This check is based on the student's previous curriculum, integrated with the programs of the courses, and can possibly provide for an oral interview.
The verification can have one of the following outcomes:
- motivated not acceptance of the application, with indications of suggested methods for the acquisition of the missing requisites;
- unconditional enrollment in the Master's Degree;
- enrollment in the Master's Degree subject to acceptance of specific prescriptions and accompanied by motivations.
The prescriptions consist of a list of activities that must be present in the student's study plan. In this case the student must sign the explicit acceptance of the prescription.
