The Master's program proposes a fully English-language educational path dedicated to the governance of digital, ecological, and social transitions, providing multidisciplinary training in economics, law, political science, and sociology within the framework of a focus on the European dimension of the phenomena considered.
The interconnection between these challenges requires the development, implementation, and evaluation of highly integrated policies and interventions that simultaneously consider the digital, ecological, and social dimensions. As a result, professionals who will be called upon to contribute to these policies must have multidisciplinary and multisectoral expertise that enables them to use theoretical and methodological tools from different disciplines, operate in various regulatory and policy domains, at different scales and levels of governance, from local to supranational.
In particular, the European Union is today an indispensable reference context for these policy areas, given the profound influence of the EU integration process and the Union's long-term policy lines on public policies and private interventions concerning digital, ecological, and social transition.
The professionals trained will therefore possess advanced knowledge and skills in the analysis, management, and evaluation of European policies, programs, and projects, as well as in-depth thematic knowledge in selected thematic areas. This depth of knowledge will enable them to effectively use the tools offered by the European Union to analyze, develop, and implement interventions that integrate aspects related to environmental sustainability, digital governance and impacts, and social cohesion and inclusion.
The study program meets this demand for expertise by offering graduates functional knowledge and skills to successfully perform the role of "Specialists in European Policies for Digital, Ecological, and Social Transitions," with three main professional placements: European policy officer in public administrations, project manager of European projects, consultant in European programs and projects.
